Penguins vs. Flyers

This is probably the most hilarious series that has been played, and may not be surpassed. Obviously there is a lot of bad blood between these two teams, but wow, I'm not sure if I'm watching hockey or MMA on Ice (Coming Soon to an Arena near you). The best thing about this series is that some of the best players in the league are involved. The star, Sidney Crosby, his teammate and probably the second best in the league, Evgeni Malkin, and Jordan Staal are all studs on the Pen's side, along with their goalie Marc-Andre Fleury. For Philly, they have Scott Hartnell and Claude Giroux to counter the Penguins, along with James van Riemsdyk, whom I absolutely love. But, the issue that is the Flyers downfall, that they don't have a goalie like Fleury. I've been thinking this for a while and it was proven this week. Ilya Bryzgalov stinks, and the Flyers will not make it past the Second Round if they win this series. They can win this series by tiring them out, and with a strong game by Giroux, but if those two things don't happen, the Penguins will channel their inner 2004 Red Sox and come back from an 0-3 deficit against a bitter rival

Knicks 118, Celtics 110

The stats from this game are pretty insane,
Melo- 35 pts, 12 reb, 10 ast, 54 FG%
Chandler- 20 pts, 7 reb, 90 FG%
Novak- 25 pts, 80 3pt% (all his field goals were 3s, which is also pretty hilarious)
JR Swish- 25 pts, 6 ast, 50 FG%

Overall, a big win for the Knicks, a major confidence boost for them even though the Atlantic Division title is basically already out of reach, they know that they can beat some of the big guns

Matt Cain

Yesterday, San Francisco Giants Matt "#2 starter that would be the ace on any team other than one that has Tim Lincecum, or the Phillies" Cain pitched a one-hitter. It wasn't a normal one-hitter. Other than the one hit, he threw a perfect game, throwing 11 strikeouts, while giving up 0 walks and no defensive errors behind him. Usually, this sort of game in thought of as, great game, but he got unlucky. Except when the one hit is by the opposing starting pitcher.
(Yes, you just read a word that started with a p and ended with an itcher, and I was not talking about pgftgtreevgegitcher.)
Pirates starter James McDonald grounded a single through the left side of the infield to break up the perfecto.
The opposing starting pitcher.
Matt Cain, your D'OH award winner for this week.

Pay for the Olympics?

Hey Dwyane Wade! (his mom was crazy and named him DwYAne instead of DwAYne) why do you think that Olympic athletes need to be payed to represent their countries? There's absolutely no reason why a person selected by their country to play for them and bring pride to them should be compensated to play? He should be honored to be selected out of all the basketball players in this country to a team of 12 and stop complaining. Sure he retracted this statement, but the fact that he even thought this, he gets the DUDE, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? Award for this week
