NFL Picks: Week 7

I won yet another Thursday Night pick! On my twitter (@WilliamBotchway) I correctly chose:
Seahawks (+8.5) over 49ERS.
This is one of the most outrageously stupid lines I've seen in a while. Under what circumstances should a 49ers team coming off of a blowout loss at home against the Giants should be giving 8 points to a Seahawks team straight off of a comeback win over the Patriots. Easy money. So now I'm 1-0 this week, and 43-47-3* on the season. You can thank the replacement refs for that asterisk.

"UPSET ALERT" next to games in which I think the underdog will win outright, not only cover. Also, home team in CAPS.

BILLS (-3.5) over Titans. Both teams are abominations on defense, but the Bills sure can put up points.
Browns (+1.5) over COLTS. The Browns are a better team, and I fully expect Trent Richardson to run wild on the Colts. Yes, the same Colts that gave up 161 yards and 3 touchdowns to Shonn Greene. Weeden isn't terrible...UPSET ALERT.
Packers (-5) over RAMS. After last week's explosion by the Packers, I'm not ready to pick against them when they are giving less than a touchdown.
Cardinals (+7) over VIKINGS. I fully expect the Vikings to win, but this line looks too big.
Redskins (+6) over GIANTS. Has Vegas not been watching RGIII? The Redskins could take this one, but it won't exactly be a classic Giants letdown home game, he could legitimately beat the Giants and their questionable secondary. Either way, the Skins should certainly cover. UPSET ALERT.
BUCCANEERS (+1.5) over Saints. The Bucs will be in the creamsicles today, and the Saints are not very good. Tampa have the 3rd ranked run defense in the league, forcing the Saints to be one dimensional. UPSET ALERT.
Cowboys (+2.5) over PANTHERS. Well, I trust neither team, so I'm going with the close game. UPSET ALERT.
Ravens (+7) over TEXANS. The Ray Lewis injury is way too overblown, but the loss of Lardarius Webb is important. Despite this, people should not forget that the Ravens have always prided themselves on their depth, and their defensive scheme is extremely good. While Cary Williams isn't as good as Webb (Webb being a top 5 corner), he should produce. Also, Baltimore still has a great offense. T-Sizzle is returning, so the infusion of  his Ball So Hard University education should help this team. No way the Ravens don't cover. UPSET ALERT.
Jaguars (+6.5) over RAIDERS. Two bad teams, close game! UPSET ALERT.
Jets (+10.5) over PATRIOTS. I don't trust the Patriots to cover this enormous spread even though there is no chance that the Jets win.
BENGALS (+1) over Steelers. Neither team is great, but I expect the Bengals to take advantage of all the injuries in Pittsburgh. UPSET ALERT.
BEARS (-7) over Lions. Matthew Stafford is not playing well at all, and the Chicago Ball-Hawks will capitalize on his mistakes.

This Week: 1-0
Last Week: 7-7
Season: 43-47-3*
