This game is going to be terrible, because the Jets are going into this game after reports came out this morning that Rex Ryan and John Idzik are both on their way out quite soon, so things are really falling apart before the season has officially come to a close.

There isn't much to preview in this game. The Jets ran the ball all over Miami when these teams squared off in New York, but couldn't win the game through the air when they need to. Geno Smith has been playing pretty well since that game, but Miami's pass defense is going to slow his momentum just enough.

On the other side of the ball, Jarvis Landry and Mike Wallace should have a field day against the Jets' terrible secondary, and the Dolphins will win comfortably.

This will be a miserable end to a miserable season. Onwards and upwards...I guess.

Bold and Unnecessary Predictions That I'm Making Anyway
  • Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson will combine for 175 yards. Once again, the Jets will use a very run-heavy gameplan.
  • The Dolphins will sack Geno Smith 5 times. Without Nick Mangold, the offensive line will struggle today.
DOLPHINS (-6) over Jets.

Dolphins 31, Jets 14.
