NFL Picks: Week 10

After a horrid Week 8, my Week 9 hovered at about .500, which is fine because I banked quite a few wins at the beginning of the season. I feel pretty good about today's picks, but of course I had to get my normal Thursday night loss:
I don't want to talk about that game. I'm upset, I'm hurt, I'm angry.

Let's move on before I start crying.

UPSET ALERT next to games in which I think the underdog will win outright, not just cover. Home team in CAPS.

PACKERS (-10.5) over Lions. The Pack are back at home after two road losses, and I feel terrible for the Lions. It's going to get real ugly, real fast.

BUCCANEERS (Pick'Em) over Cowboys. I'm now convinced that the Cowboys are simply incapable of winning a game without Tony Romo.

Panthers (-5) over TITANS. I refuse to accept that Carolina's first loss of the season will come to the Titans, even on the road.

Bears (+7) over RAMS. I actually like the Bears a bit, I think they're a little frisky. I do think the Rams are clearly better, but I'm just worried that they won't be able to put up enough points to truly separate themselves in this contest.

WASHINGTON PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM (-1) over Saints. Home team.

Dolphins (+6) over EAGLES. Still not sure what to make of either team, so give me them points.

Browns (+5.5) over STEELERS. I can't lay 5.5 points with Landry Jones. That would be dumb.

Jaguars (+5.5) over RAVENS. I can't lay 5.5 points with the 2015 Ravens. That would be dumb.

RAIDERS (-2.5) over Vikings. It's going to take a while for me to get used to this thing where the Raiders are good, but the Raiders are good.

GIANTS (+7.5) over Patriots. The Pats are laying quite a few points on the road, so I have to go with the G-Men here, but there will be no Super Bowl repeat today because the Pats are winning.

BRONCOS (-4.5) over Chiefs. The line is surprisingly low here. I understand that the Broncos lost last week to a not-great Colts team, but the pessimism went too far.

SEAHAWKS (-3) over Cardinals. I'm very excited for this game, and even though the Cardinals are the better team this year, the 12th Man should propel Seattle to victory.

BENGALS (-12.5) over Texans. Great team against a terrible team, giving fewer than two touchdowns, gimme dat.

Last Week: 7-6

This Week: 0-1

Season: 66-60-5
