NFL Picks: Week 13

I was on the right side of that crazy Thursday night game, which was the highlight of my season from a picks standpoint:

UPSET ALERT next to games in which I think the underdog will win outright, not just cover. Home team in CAPS.

Jets (-2.5) over GIANTS. I swear, this isn't a homer pick, this is a situation where the Jets are better than the Giants. They seemed to have righted the ship last week by actually beating the Dolphins in a must win game at home late in the season for the first time in history to stop their recent slide. The Giants on the other hand, will continue to be inconsistent for the rest of the year, and this is not a good matchup for them. Todd Bowles's swarming defense will force Eli Manning into bad decisions, and the Jets should win a tight game.

Cardinals (-4.5) over RAMS. Case Keenum.

BUCCANEERS (-1) over Falcons. The Falcons have not played a good game in so long, even well before their current slide began. Looking back, it's been since about Week 4 since they had a legitimate win. They're not good, and they're playing like it right now.

VIKINGS (+2) over Seahawks. This is one of the most obvious cases where the public keeps throwing money on a team because of their name rather than their actual performance. The Vikings are great this year, and playing at home, it makes no sense for them to be the underdogs. UPSET ALERT.

J.J. Watt (+3.5) over BILLS. The Texans are better than the Bills at this point, which continues to amaze me. UPSET ALERT.

Ravens (+3.5) over DOLPHINS. I like the Ravens here, because even without any offensive talent, they continue to hang around in games. UPSET ALERT.

BROWNS (+9) over Bengals. I like Austin "Not Terrible" Davis. He did not get a fair shot in St. Louis, which confused me. He played pretty well before he was benched out of nowhere, and I like that he's getting a shot now in Cleveland. I honestly think he'll impress enough to get a starting job somewhere next season.

Jaguars (+2) over TITANS. The Jags are better. UPSET ALERT.

BEARS (-6.5) over 49ers. Chicago is on a roll, and they'll continue it today with a convincing win over the Niners, despite the fact that they somehow gave Arizona a lot of trouble in Week 12.

Brockos (-4) over CHARGERS. The Brockstar will lead the team to a pretty easy win over a terrible Chargers team in Denver's final trip to San Diego before the Bolts bolt to Los Angeles,

RAIDERS (+3) over Chiefs. The Raiders play spoiler here at home and beat a surging Chiefs team. UPSET ALERT.

Panthers (-6.5) over SAINTS. The Panthers actually may not lose.

PATRIOTS (-7.5) over Eagles. This line should be significantly higher. I don't care that Gronk and Edelman are out for the Patriots. Whoever caused this line to be so low clearly hasn't seen the Eagles play in the last couple of weeks. They're an abject disaster, even with Sam Bradford returning, because he isn't much better than Mark Sanchez

Colts (+7.5) over STEELERS. Matt Hasselbeck has yet to lose a game this season, think about that. It'll finally happen this week, but the Steelers are laying far too many points to a team that's holding its own without Andrew Luck.

YOU LIKE THATS? (-3.5) over Cowboys. The line should be higher because Cassel. Every time Matt Cassel is involved in a game, the line should be moved 4 extra points.

Last Week: 7-9

This Week: 1-0

Season: 88-82-5
